GHK-Cu (Copper Peptide)
A naturally occurring tripeptide-copper complex studied for wound healing, collagen synthesis, anti-inflammatory activity, and skin regeneration.
Mechanism of Action
GHK-Cu (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine copper(II)) binds copper ions and delivers them to tissues, activating metalloproteinases and stimulating collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycan synthesis. It modulates over 4,000 genes, upregulating those associated with tissue repair and downregulating pro-inflammatory and tissue-destructive genes. It also recruits immune cells to wound sites and promotes angiogenesis.
